We have only one catagory
Only one, because that is all that is needed. Why have more, when you can quite easily fit everything you need into one? It looks neater, you don't need to scroll at all, and you can see where everything is - easy. As this is a community discussion forum, we offer no services because that isn't part of the genre - chatting is, but advertising, support, reviews and requests etc, are not.

Notice anything about the staff?
That's right, we have only two groups. Admin, and Moderator - and that's all we will ever have. No graphics staff, no support staff, no nothing. Not even the old chestnut, Community Staff. Also, there are no staff that are pre-appointed and un-needed. We don't have any staff at the moment, simply because we aren't big enough and there would be nothing for them to do. Saying that, when we do get bigger, staff will only ever be hired from the active and dedicated members of the community,as "fame" and "e-rep" mean absolutely nothing here.

A Nice, Clean Skin
Yep, it's very simple, and "2005" looking isn't it? Everything is easy to read, it is a nice, mellow colour and clean looking - that's how it shall stay. No pointlessly complex maintitles/grads, no crazy borders, no 3D souped up banner. Just simplicity - how forums were meant to be.

Pinned Guideline Topics
Beside the useful, need to know information, there are none. They aren't needed, barely anyone reads them and cares, and certainly they have no place on a general discussion forum - so they aren't there.

Allowing guests the ability to post isn't a very good idea as spambots will starting spamming you with porn and other crap more often as allowing only members to post does decrease it by a bit.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines - I thought I'd just see how it went for the first few days and then if it screws up royally I'll just turn it off and have some kind of validation system.

That's a great concept for a board. It looks nice too. I've registered. ^_^

Its clean and basic i like it, I do love the look (skin and images) there great, However i agree with BZ dont allow guests to post it will just get messy and you wont have anyone joining.

Thanks a lot Eddy. We had a little drama about Mode, but thank goodness it seems to have died down now, and people can go back to relaxing and having a laugh.
