Old school punk > newer punk

The Clash are freaking awesome. Most people know "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" but they have a whole catalog of great stuff. London Calling, Rock the Casbah, Magnificent Seven, and Know Your Rights are probably my favorite songs.

So, discuss the Clash.

I love The Clash. Magnificent Seven might be my favorite song, it makes me laugh. "Cheesboiger!" XD

Honestly, out of all the bands in the then starting punk era, The Clash was probably the greatest. They out-did the repetitive Sex Pistols and Ramones with their diverse genre-clashing (lol pun) styles. They weren't boring, they weren't repetitive, they were diverse and a truly great band.

My hat goes out to them. London Calling = Greatest punk album to ever exist.
