Does it matter if a board has a custom skin or not? Or are you more about content? So let's pretend that Madads never had the custom skins, would you still come here?

If the theme was attractive and not ugly, and not overused. Sure I'd come.

Only if the pre-made didn't look like *I really shouldn't use bad language* or was dull. If a skin is dull I get into a non posting mood, unless the people there is extremely funny. So it depends from board to board.

If Madads had a dull skin and I wasn't staff I wouldn't post here to be honest.

I think it matters more on the content than anything personally. I mean as long as it isn't ugly as you said. :D

Content definetly. Skins don't really matter to me as long as they aren't offsetting, which most are not.

I joined Madads when it had a overused skin :P, so no it doesn't matter really. But it's nice to be different once in a while, that is if your content is not different.

If there is something worth joining and posting and the skin isn't horrible, most people will join and post, for what they wanted to stay for, because the skin isn't usually enough to keep people at the forum, they need something more than that.

As long as it looks nice, buzzing with activity, and full of interesting content...I'm good.

I am the same way. Content is a big thing and if it looks very bad though I wont post or even go back.
I am pretty picky when it does come to a forum. If there is no activity or a good theme per say to go along with that board and what it offers I will leave.

no it don't matter and if everything else was the same outside of the custom skin then yeah I would join. The community that the board has and the content is what matters most to me.

The skin isn't important in the slightest. To get the real, quality members you need a good community, or at least a good all round base of interesting topics to work with.
