What are the biggest mistakes you've seen a admin do?
Why do you consider that being a mistake and what consequences did it bring?

One of the biggest mistakes was the admin deciding to hold off the opening day for another week. He did that for at least four weeks until I presented him with his options, he opened. And we were hit with activity :D

The biggest mistake I've seen an admin do, is not listen to his members.

The members loved this one board and it was the most active, well the admin deleted it. That action caused a huge uproar that led to his de-admining.

The worst I've probably seen is my own mistake..when I let my forum die so I could play a MMO with my online time. Now, I'm bored of it and back to the forums..and all my good, old members are gone. x_x'

The most common mistake I seen board owners do is open a board that has no posts/topics that and the use of a skin with default graphics.

I imagine it killed those boards off as they are both major turnoffs to guests.

I'd agree with that. I see it so often.
