From your experience on forums, who's better at running forums men or women?

This is not meant as a über serious thingy it's for fun, so wanna over exaggerate go ahead XD

The serious part of this topic:

Give examples of your favorite admin of all time and what made that person the best admin?

Women. Madgal is the best <3 :D

Men.

I have two examples:

This forum I know of used to have a women admin and long story short, it died very quickly and she was biased and had no clue what to do.

Also, on my forum I had a female Moderater. Who just a week ago, snapped and deleted a lot of threads and caused some people to leave....

But on the flipside, I've never really seen problems that large with men admins and mods.

That's all very well and good, but they are two cases, in the second case you seem to be implying (or assuming) that the loss of temper was due to gender, rather than other causes....

I personally think there is no difference in the ability of Men and Women in terms of running forums. Of course, it's not really a fair test since the ratio of Male to Female forum owners is probably 10:1 (10 Males to 1 female).

Ambient's right...there's hardly any female forum administrators out there. It's hard to judge on a few instances, as well, it's not as if we've seen every forum out there.

Well of course I'm basing my opinion off of examples I've seen, just like you are off of yours.

With that being said I could list at least 3 other minor examples supporting my side. However, do I truely believe Men are better than women? No, I've just seem facts and examples that prove my side.

Women appear to care about their members more but have less technical knowledge, and men have more technical knowledge but see their members as numbers. Flip sides to both. :)
