Do you prefer to be an admin from near the start of the opening of the forum ... or join when the forum has been there for months?



I like starting off things, and being there from the beginning. However if the forum was dieing off, I wouldn't mind starting as an admin then.

I've only ever started off - and only plan to do it this way.
I like to watch my forums grow.

i love setting up the board, adding the skin and layout, getting staff, after that i prefer to come in when its successful =]

I only join an admin team if I like the other admins and get a long with them. I joined UR when it was going really slow and had just reopened. I don't really care when I join the team just as long as I'm comfortable with the people I have to work with.

Near Start. Then you feel like you did something to bring it what it is today. I mean, anyone can become an admin later, but its all about who works at it in the beginning and gives it a chance to have more admins in the end. Hope that makes sense.

I only admin my own forum which I created, never became admin of another forum.

Hmm, being administrator from the beginning, though I don't mind helping out if I feel love for the forum I'm on. But only that way.

I like being the one that starts the forum, I am not very comfortable becoming an admin on a forum that I did not start.

I like being there from the start because then if it gets big, you can say to yourself. "Hey, I was the one of the reasons to make this possible." Also, I like to set up boards.

I like starting if off, that way I have complete control (or close to it) on what goes on and how the forum will turn out.

Well, I've only ever started off - On the forum in my sig..today. :P

I was thinking of having a forum back in 04, but changed my mind. I prefer being the creator and sole admin.
