Description: The official Battle

madgal - June 6, 2008 09:05 AM (GMT)
Let the battle commence - Is it FF or IE?

I'm sticking by IE. I find that firefox sticks on my laptop :(

Tyume - June 6, 2008 09:07 AM (GMT)
Firefox for me! It seems much faster, loads faster and I like the toolbar bookmarks :)

Xarina - June 6, 2008 01:06 PM (GMT)
Firefox, it's way better in pretty much everything IMO.

Oono - June 6, 2008 05:51 PM (GMT)
I prefere firefox as it's more secure and come along with other features IE doesn't have.

Octane. - June 6, 2008 06:05 PM (GMT)
Firefox quite simple.

Best browser, Fast Loading, Good Addons, And now works with most websites.

Mika - June 6, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
Firefox is a memory whore.

Virtu - June 6, 2008 08:01 PM (GMT)
firefox easily, u mite be able to find an error here or there, but compared to IE's several downfalls (slow, coding errors, etc) firefox easily is the better browser.

Bluezone777 - June 6, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
Firefox is the only browser I use. :D

Jakob. - June 7, 2008 08:23 AM (GMT)
After trying FF you find it slow going back to IE. So why do it? Also, I'm looking forward to FF 3. Though I won't download it until it's ready.

Jura - June 7, 2008 12:07 PM (GMT)
Both are slow, less secure, and buggy.

Octane. - June 7, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
Firefox !

What do you use then Jura ?.

Tymon - June 8, 2008 04:53 PM (GMT)
Firefox definitely

but lay off the add-ons or they'll eat up your ram like a doughnut

I use Opera. I use to use many other browsers like Lolifox...but that's currently dead.

But yes. Opera is just as good if not better.

That I have to agree on. And FF seems to delete my bookmarks. IE doesn't do that. But IE is slow unless you have good memory ans speed and space and such. I do not hence why I do not use it. But also for The Sims wise, I HAVE to use IE when i need to download stuff. FF is not acceptable for downloads on the EA SIMS site. :(

driver - June 18, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
LK, that has happened to me before, however all my bookmarks are backed up every week :P

I prefer the great Firefox

Esaul - June 18, 2008 10:54 AM (GMT)
Opera, good for the fact that there's speed dial, Firefox because it's just so friggeny cool. Always hated IE

What is great about it?

Nobody else answer this, he needs to.

Esaul - June 18, 2008 11:50 AM (GMT)
Why? Because you demand it? People don't have to back up their opinions...

Angie - June 18, 2008 01:17 PM (GMT)
I use both. Currently I'm on IE, but yesterday I downloaded FF 3 and it was great. :D

xBifnepasu - June 19, 2008 12:21 PM (GMT)
FireFox, wins.

Rob - June 19, 2008 02:41 PM (GMT)
Firefox hands down.

Fried Korn - June 19, 2008 03:03 PM (GMT)
FireFox 3 is great :D

FireFox 3 is great :D

Indeed. The only thing I don't like is the way they setup the History. Ex: when you start typing an address into the address bar.

How do you back them up?

BTW, I'm downloading FF3 because everyone says it's cool.

UPDATE: OH MY *I really shouldn't use bad language*ING GOSH. I LOVE FF3.

Then there's no reason for them to post. You're not Driver.

You seem to be against discussion.

Firefox is a lot safer then IE. And faster. If you have vista. There are tons of problems with IE. IE hangs up, and really has no customization to it. Firefox allows everyone to have what they want. If you are a web developer you have the addons to help you. If you are a coder, you have addons to do that. There are hundreds of features that Firefox has that IE doesn't. And with Firefox 3, it is a lot faster then IE (in my opinion.) Oh and Firefox has themes. I like to customize my firefox. Not look at the same old template everyday. I am sure that Microsoft will fix the problems with IE 8, and I have heard rumors of add ons features, and customization, but we will have to wait and see. :p. For me, I like Firefox a lot better than IE.

Oh really? There is going to be an IE 8. I would love to see how it is. And Jura, your best bet is to not argue with a staff member. I'm trying to help you dude/chick/whatever you are. But for the most part, I'm making everyone I know get FF3. It's so freaking awesome!

Really??? The location bar is now renamed the Awesome Bar because of its new functionality... I don't disagree.

Ladyknuckles - June 20, 2008 06:35 AM (GMT)
Oh. I don't like that history tab. It seems that I'm going to have to clean that out every 5 minutes or I'm kicked off the computer for looking at bad things. LOL.

WHOMG! I love this Zoom in options. All of you guys avatars are ugly. (zooms out) JKJKJKJKJK!

DaReaper - June 20, 2008 07:58 AM (GMT)
I say firefox.,.. its the best borwser and i even say Opera

Jjciantar - June 21, 2008 10:29 AM (GMT)
I prefer Firefox over IE. Firefox has much better compatibility support for CSS2 than IE does. If Microsoft do create better support for CSS2 in Ie7, I wouldn't be sure which one is better.

Myrza - June 30, 2008 05:29 PM (GMT)
FireFox. :D Best so far.

Kingmush - July 1, 2008 09:18 PM (GMT)
I voted FireFox, but I'd rather say neither. Opera is the best of them all in my opinion. =p

However, regarding this poll. It's no contest, IE is basically in the darkages while FF has progressed to the Golden Age (With Opera in the Computer age =p).

Silvereye - July 3, 2008 09:49 AM (GMT)
FF for me. Interesting to note the 20-1 difference.

sbfc93 - July 4, 2008 10:56 PM (GMT)
Firefox ftw.

HelenaZF - July 5, 2008 06:11 AM (GMT)
FireFox

I am an extension junkie. :D

Jay-_^ - July 5, 2008 04:17 PM (GMT)
Firefox.

DOM Inspector. Web Dev toolbar.
Secks.

I like opera but without those things i mentioned... its just not as good.

Killer - September 13, 2008 11:39 PM (GMT)
What do you think?

Ikram45 - September 16, 2008 07:05 AM (GMT)
Firefox is the best!

Retsu - September 16, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
FireFox.
