What was the worst thing to happen to your computer ?

Mine was when i spilt coke all over it and sparks was flying out everywhere.

My internet connection has broke.
So I bought the USB connection lead - it broke 2 :(

My dog once chewed ours to peices so we got a new one then he had a week up the tower. :O

Malware & spilling drinks on my keyboard (3 times)

spyware and adware...at the same time =[

Files been deleted that allow the system to run. But that was avirus I'm sure =]Good job they were backed up ^^

I put a computer wrong together and it exploded after bootup, luckily I had a fire extinguisher.

My whole windows media has wiped ... any solutions??

When the Naked Lady Virus reared its ugly head. It's not cool seeing a tall chcik with mimum coverage and bearly any woman aspects about her pop up on your computer at anytime when you least expect it. *sigh* Good times when i had AOL.

I received a laptop, then two weeks later I go to turn it on and there is a blue screen telling me to go to safe mode.

So I go to Safe Mode. Guess what, it never makes it. It goes right back to the blue screen.

When my CPU motherboard was broken, had to replace it. Took days for it to get fixed <_<

When the internet wouldn't connect and I couldn't fill any graphic requests...

This is kinda weird, but yano when your in the airport, and you have to put your laptop through security? Well mine came out more scratched than normal :(

That sucks for all of you.

BTW, does anyone know how to fix my problem?

Mhm. You must have an error booting. try a Live CD. I suggest Ubuntu but there are many others. if that runs then you have a problem with Windows booting. i suggest you reinstall windows. Install Ubuntu then you can Reformat. make sure you has a backup of your Drivers ect...

Or just take it back to the shop?

Virus what made my pc shut down lol

Having too much stuff on your computer, and you don't wanna remove any of it.

I believe I got a dummy virus, a harmless one or probably nonexistent. My norton anti-virus was out of date and notified me that I must update because I got a virus. I ended up reformating my whole computer and start everything again from scratch. Reinstalling everything sucks haha. I found out the virus wasn't a virus or perhaps wasn't even there! Norton makes up viruses when it gets out of date so clueless people, such as myself, update fast, which cost money. I'm sticking with my reliable AVG from now on haha. It's free too.

A Virus That Keped Shutting Down My Computer When I Started It Up :(

The internet not working about every week (though bursts of not working); it doesn't work and i can't be bothered fixing it.

when my computer monitor wasn't working and just showing a blank screen(but i could still hear the sounds etc) I bought a new monitor and still the same thing

it was from the graphics card :P well at least i got a new monitor too lol

When my borther was playiong with his baseball bat and he hit the monitor screen lol

My backup hard drive died without my noticing. I format my computer, plug in the backup drive, wait for a few minutes. Take a closer look at the drive. *Insert Swear Word Here* it died.

When it was slow. :P

it has 40gb of .mp3 files on it.

My hard drive was dieing on this very old computer I own.

Spyware, LOL..

Got a virus but removed it. :)

- Virus where everytime i clicked, popups where everywhere.
- Spyware
- Adware
- Blue screen of death
- Smashed Cd drive
- Cracked screen ( it was old and chemicals were pouring out
- Spilt Coke on the fan
- Computes starting a dirty habit (smoking)
- Computer Slowed down to snail speed.
- Internet was touch and go with the pc right next to the router


All this led to my dad buying us Sophos antivirus. No problems since :)
