Title: *MadAds Timeline* Good Read!

March 2006:
- 5th of March 2006 -MadAds opened up to the unsuspecting public.
It was probably the easiest month of management on the forum as 27 members joined, and we made a stunning - 434 posts!!
- 6th April - Frank or Naruto06 (as he was know then) was the first member of MadAds to be promoted to Admin.

11th April - Madgal nearly died when the 50th member .Luke joined the forum, and the first 1000 posts where hit.
We also doubled our posts from the previous month - 982 posts, and another 41 lovely faces joined our forum!May 2006

- 27th of June - Cn999er became the 150th member, as MadAds hit their first 5000 posts.
28th June - Sue became the 3rd admin
48 members joined the forum, and 1490 posts were made.
- Mid-July - MadAds Second Skin - Skinner: Joma.
The Second skin went down really well (bar the typo in the banner). We had requests for this skin for other forums, and members till remember the 'infamous' red skin that Joma made!
17th July - DsBoY (Frank) was demoted as admin and banned!!! Joma (the skinner) was promoted to Admin.
July 28th - MadAds encountered their first spam attack, when 15 members all joined using offensive names and spammed up the forum. (Nothing overly major)
July 06 was most certainly a popular month on the forum, while others dwindled and fell apart, MadAds had 95 new members join, and we hit 3,269 posts. 16250 of their topics were also viewed. Something no-one had expected.
- Beginning of August - Sue stepped down as admin due an illness.
20th August - ScurvyDavid joined the forum
28th of August 2006 - Ambient became admin of MadAds - replacement of Sue.
- 1st of September - MadAds hit 9000 posts.
3rd of September - MadAds aimed to hit 10,000 posts for the 6th month anniversary mark. Today was the highest number of posts hit, with 675 posts being made on this day.
5th of September - MadAds reached the 6th month anniversary mark.
10th September - Esaul made his first arrival on the team - as an advertising team member
11th September - MadAds scored a 6 in the IFSZ review, we were told our skin was original but needed changed, our layout was good but could be changed, and we were original, but we weren't!!! :D
23rd September - We updated the entire staff List.
Graphics : Guitarplaya, DarkLizard and Identity
Reviewers: Prudvi, Base 173
Advertising: Esaul, aniruddhc
August and Septembers stats were mixed together - 95 new members joined, 4375 posts made, and 20K topics viewed.
- 1st October - Imitation MadAds I giggle at this every time, but Mobek tried to scare us off with a little warning when we banned him.
31st of October - MadAds hit 400 posts.
47 members joined, 2419 posts were made.
- MadAds changed their skin IFSZ created it.
10th November - MadAds hit 15,000 Posts
28th of November - Esaul won the posting contest by posting over 400 times!
63 members joined, and posted 4782 times!
- 4th December - MadAds hits 20,000 posts.
Mid-Dec - ScurvyDavid became Admin.
By the end of 2006, MadAds was sitting with 500 members, and 24000 posts. Very comfortable spot to be.
68 members joined in January and posted a whopping 6747 posts.
February 2007
- 17th Feb - snskiow made it on to the graphics team
5th of March - MadAds became 1 year old.
MadAds revamped Again! Skinner - SD
23rd March Keangel Made it on to the graphics team
- 1st April April Fool Stunt
25th April - Gossip Column Added
26th April - Abi revealed as admin
93 members joined in April and a whopping 5574 posts where made.
- Mid May - We started the Apprentice competition, but due to everyone doing exams it was abandoned and never started again.
6th of May - We had the www.madads.net kindly donated to us!
13th of May We had 83 members online at any one time, and smashed 50K posts!
We made 6,032 posts, and over 133 members joined!
- 1st of June - Hellbound joined the reviewing team.
2nd of June SD retired ... again!
11th of June Jamie became a temporary admin.
26th of June We smashed the 60K
29th of June Driver joined the review team.
- 4th of July CookieRuler became a moderator.
July Everyone's forums got hacked.
- Early August Some buck ejits tried a posting scam.
13th of August Locke promoted to graphics
17th August Bluezone joined the team.
Very quiet month as Madgal was away for most of the summer.
We hit 70,000 posts and over 1500 members.
- 2nd Sept - Hollyberry became a reviewer
19th Sept Jamie retired :(
21st Sept - BZ promoted to admin
3918 posts were made and 399 members joined
- Early Oct - Abi left too :(
October 3rd, 2007 Sheyenne joins the team as a reviewer under the name Ichigo.
A whopping 474 members joined and we made 3000+ posts.
- nothing much happened in November ... however we still posted 5426 posts and had 407 members online
November 22, 2007 Sheri. AKA Ingenium. celebrates her one year anniversary as a member.
- 15th of Dec - JAMIE BROUGHT SEXI BACK!
264 members joined, and 4469 posts where made.
- Into the new year ... 298 members joined, and 3709 posts where made.
January 3rd - 6:27pm EST Karan139 was promoted to Advertisement team
- 8th of Feb - LadyKnuckles joined the admin team!
12th of Feb - 100,000 posts smashed!
15th of Feb - SD left (he will be back!)
?? of Feb. Sheyenne retires from the review team
28th of Feb --- special mention BZ member for a year!
- 5th of March - 2 years old, New Skin, New services!! What more

And I was around for half of that as a week ago I celebrated my personal one year anniversary of being a member here myself. :D

Aww thanks... I didn't know you were going to do that but good idea. Anyone got a Memory regarding their timeat Madads should definitely post it up so we can add it to the timeline and make it represent all the fun times from all of us here at Madads.

I don't exactly remember when I got promoted tho, I just remember being PM'ed to read a memo in the staff room I can't see XD. I remember when my internet quit on me and I was soo close to my first 100 requests made and Keangel and Jamie were left to do the requests and when my computer was out those 2 weeks, I went insane, not from the lack of internet, but from the fact I was so worried about losing my gfx postion... Now, I remember counting over the gfx requests I made over the summer, around a 100, almost too 500 now.. sooo close. MadAds better last long enough for me to get 1000.
I remember when Keangel had the color changed to this baby blue color because the previous blue was too dark for the first dark/red madads skin.. I was going to say something but I didn't complain because my dad's words of "don't sweat small stuff" in my head ran through...
Most of the designers on madads (not including me) have filled from 40-100, I only know shadow of death to be the second designer to hit 100, the rest of the previous designers have 50 to 60 or less (thats from when I counted like a year ago XD)
These are the GFX Designers that I can remember, Locke, shadow-of-death, Keangel/Xiunis, Parappa, snskoiw, Jamie, ScruvyDavid, Grunge, Virtu, Toast, Neo D. Prudvi

I can remember the signature I used when I came on madads. I remember moleman35, I remember when I was the slacker :) (Maybe, I should be abit more lax... Nahh), I remember when I was PM'ed one day and I was told to make a V-day banner on abit of a short notice, I remember filling out a request for abi for that x-facter forum and I spelt forum 'fourm'.
Kind of lucky cause I came here too, atleast what I think, I didn't have a forum really, don't know why i bothered to click on the link in madgals sig, you (madgal) most likely won't remember, but I remember the day/week/time era...
"It was around the time when I was bored, searching for GFX forums to join, around August or something, forum had around 3-5 active members, just us bunch just spamming and chit-chating on the forum. A few members, myself included, decided to gang up on this member and start ripping on them for there signature, the admin promotes this guy to admin, and he didn't seem the best admin to be admin, and closed his own shop for "spam" when I asked for what is works were and costs and etc. He was demoted, and I was asked and another if they wanted to start a forum with them, so I accepted and I was on ZFX (its been around a month I've beena member on that fourm) and I made the banner :).. XD.. So, yea. I suppose he was advertising because madgal happened to post on that forum with the old round corners ad siggy and she said something on the lines "This doesn't look much of a graphic forum." When the ad siggy looked like crap, I took offense and clicked on the link, I didn't see much that interested me but the GFX Sections interested me, I popped into the GFX request section and completed this animated rain one because grunge couldn't do it. And at this same time, ZFX really didn't get of on a good start, and the fourm I was on before was dying (I found the admin on runescape on day XD). So, I eventually csme here, and also, at that time, someone happened to be retiring, and didn't really know that and I had this habit of posting my works where ever I go, I was PM'ed to join the team, and here I am.. a year and some months later."

But i'm not gonna spoil this lovely thread, MadAds has been through a lot of smiles and cries and I'm happy to be a member of it. <3 I'm glad to all see it happen, what most members can't say, except the 'old' staff members and a few 'old' members. But not a lot of the early members who joined, are online anymore which is a shame. BUT I AM. =D =D

I know i've been here for more then a year, staff and as a member. I was hired aprox 15 days to 20 days from when I first came to madads so not a huge different. And LK as been past a year... lots have :p... Um.. Ummm yea... I'm hungry.

I became a reviewer on here in January/Feb time last year, and became a Temp Admin in April or so. Mwah ha ha.
Thats fab Ruth!!! Lots of memories in there - Convincing you to hire Jamie, being one. Bareing in mind he had less than 50 posts, you said he had to get to that before i could promote him. Bet your pleased about that now ;)

You forgot that I came back like bazillion times but never could stay. :)
I remember Mobek's little copy, Jamie's retirement(taught me how to skin), 10k posts, and ofcourse all the staff.

Had a wonderful time on this forum. I remember the madads copy that, Mobek ?, Think his names bioshox now made, That copy was soo funny XD.
Got to mention that i havent seen pruvdi for a while :p. I remember the original blue skin, So nice :).
Still so more fun times to be had at this forum, Some great members coming in and some current members who are amazingly awesome, this board can just get better :).
